About The Position
The Retail Sales Operator directs customer service and retail sales outlet operations. This hourly position requires competency in on-the-job activities that may affect product safety, legality, or quality, and constant interaction with the work group and other departments at the primary work location.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, perform basic math, and record information applicable to the job.
- Completion of a formal management skills training program.
Nice To Haves
- One or more years of retail and/or customer service experience.
Responsibilities
- Inventory incoming product.
- Inventory stock to meet consumer demand.
- Maintain proper product rotation and freshness.
- Direct shelf stocking according to established standards.
- Maintain positive relationships with retail customers.
- Operate a cash register and accurately maintain and record sales receipts.
- Maintain accurate inventory and related records.
- Serve as the lead person.
- Comply with company policies and procedures, including those concerning equal employment opportunity, harassment, safety, and Sarbanes-Oxley.
- Perform other duties considered integral to the job, including fulfilling work schedules and adhering to attendance policies and applicable operating rules, policies, and procedures.
