The Terminal Operator is responsible for safely, efficiently, and conscientiously loading and unloading hazardous and non-hazardous liquid products to and from storage tanks, railcars, trucks, vessels, barges, and other equipment specific to the terminal. The operator follows established operating policies and procedures and works to meet or exceed the supervisor’s expectations. The role includes loading, unloading, and blending products; supporting tank transfers; completing accurate paperwork; and helping maintain terminal equipment and work areas. Employees must comply with applicable health, safety, environmental, security, company, and regulatory requirements, complete required training, and promptly report injuries, illnesses, spills, releases, and unsafe acts or conditions. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Work is primarily outdoors—approximately 90% of the workday—and involves exposure to varying weather, noise, fumes, grease, oils, odors, and cleaning and other chemicals. The work also entails substantial standing, bending, walking, and climbing, including access to elevated walkways, docks, railcars, tanks, ladders, and confined areas. Employees may need to lift or exert force, occasionally more than 50 pounds, and wear required safety equipment.
