About The Position

The Terminal Operator works under the direction of the Regional Logistics Manager and oversees terminal inventory and operations. The role includes recording storage tank readings, preparing daily and month-end inventory reports, unloading propane rail cars, overseeing LPG truck loading, and performing terminal maintenance and repairs while maintaining a safe working environment. The operator also assists with terminal operations expense goals and completes related rail car and truck paperwork.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Computer experience using Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Previous propane rail car and truck experience.

Responsibilities

• Take and record daily temperature, pressure, and liquid-level readings of storage tanks.
• Prepare daily inventory reports using Microsoft Excel.
• Prepare month-end inventory reports using Microsoft Excel.
• Spot and unload propane rail cars, and load rail cars if applicable.
• Oversee LPG truck loading and unload LPG trucks.
• Complete rail car and truck paperwork.
• Perform facility and equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Assist in achieving terminal operations expense goals.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Regional Logistics Manager.
