About The Position

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Unit and annual competencies to be completed each year.
• Annual education required per hospital certification(s).
• HIPAA- confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Maintaining infection control standards in relation to the environmental cleaning and disinfection in the operating room between procedures and terminal cleaning.
• Assisting the team in preparation of surgical suites including but not limited to equipment, positioning/transfer, and transport.
• May have access to areas where medications are stored and/or prepared for purposes of fulfilling job duties.
