About The Position
The CNA/Resident Attendant provides direct resident care and assists with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, mobility, and feeding. The role supports high-quality, person-centered care in a caring and compassionate environment at Parker at Somerset, a post-acute rehabilitation and nursing care residence in Somerset, New Jersey.
Requirements
- Certified Nurse's Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing from New Jersey or certification from a state with approved New Jersey reciprocity.
- High school graduate or GED.
- Ability to deal with others in a diplomatic, tactful, and confidential manner.
- Ability to move, lift, or carry objects up to approximately 25 pounds and occasionally assist in lifting or transferring elders weighing an average of 150 pounds.
- Ability to move about and between small homes and floors.
- Flu vaccination is required during flu season.

- Skill and experience with long-term care, geriatric care, and/or dementia care preferred.
