About The Position

Parker at Somerset is hiring a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant/Resident Attendant for a 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. schedule every other weekend. The role provides direct resident and patient care and assists with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, mobility, and feeding, to support high-quality, person-centered care in a caring and compassionate environment.

Requirements

• Current Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing from the state of New Jersey, or certification from another state with approved reciprocity.
• High school graduate or GED.
• Ability to deal with others in a diplomatic, tactful, and confidential manner.
• Ability to move, lift, and carry objects weighing up to approximately 25 pounds.
• Ability to occasionally assist with lifting or transferring elders weighing an average of 150 pounds.
• Ability to move about and between small homes.
• Flu vaccination is required during flu season.

• Skill and experience with long-term care, post-acute care, geriatric care, and/or dementia.
