About The Position

NHC is hiring a Resident Attendant at NHC Place Anniston. The role assists residents with activities of daily living, personal care, and comfort, while helping maintain a safe and clean environment. Duties also include preparing residents for meals and services, responding to call lights, anticipating residents’ needs, and performing secure checks. The position offers 8-hour shifts, with schedules listed as 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m., and 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. Rotating weekends are required. Requirements

Able to follow oral and written instructions.
Capable of accurately charting on residents’ plans or care records.
Sensitive to residents’ physical and psychosocial needs.
Able to assist residents with transfers.
