About The Position
Parker Health Group is hiring a part-time Culinary Attendant at Parker at Somerset, a 120-bed post-acute rehabilitation and nursing care residence in Somerset, New Jersey. The Culinary Attendant ensures meals meet the highest quality and standards, are professionally presented, and are served with excellent customer service. The residence provides post-acute rehabilitation and long-term nursing care in a home-like environment. The schedule is 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., three days per week, including every other weekend. The starting hourly rate is $19.25. Parker Health Group describes a supportive work environment with opportunities for professional development and job growth.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED required.
- Food service experience required.
- ServSafe certification required, or ability to obtain it within six months.
- Flu vaccine required during flu season.
Nice To Haves
- Culinary training and cooking experience preferred.
- Skill and experience working with long-term care and/or dementia residents preferred.
