About The Position
The Medical Assistant (MA) - Family Medicine position at Lincolnwood is a full-time role focused on providing direct patient care and front office support. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required.
- CPR certification through the American Heart Association required
- One year of work experience required
Nice To Haves
- Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required
- Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred, but not required.
- previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and escort them to exam room
- Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit
- Provide front office support as needed
- Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight
- Phlebotomy and injections may be required
