About The Position

Requirements

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse
• BLS required for all units–Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree
• Two years in acute care.
• Previous clinical nursing experience in med/surg, telemetry or ICU
• ACLS required for Adult Critical Care, Telemetry, Interim Critical Care units within 6 months of date of hire or transfer date into unit
• PALS required for PICU within 6 months of date of hire or transfer date into unit
• NRP required for NICU within 6 months of date of hire or transfer date into unit
• S.T.A.B.L.E. for NICU- Level 2 Nursery-Must provide proof of prior completion or obtain within 6 months of hire or transfer date into unit (Renewal is not required)
