About The Position

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years recent experience as Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Mechanic required, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English sufficiently to perform required job duties.
• Ability to accurately review and interpret blueprints and diagrams.
• EPA Refrigerant Certification Type I and Type II required.
• Formal HVAC/R Education and certification required.
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License with a clean driving record or licensure in another state required.

• Experience preferably in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform tradesman level HVAC/R repair, maintenance, installation, and inspection.
• Assist with construction projects of Mechanical and Air Conditioning/Refrigeration systems and equipment.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, and carpentry duties as assigned.
• Coordinate a variety of repair and maintenance duties with intermediate proficiency.
• Support Patients, Physicians, Visitors, External Agencies, Departmental Managers, Managers in other Departments, Employees within Department, Employees outside Department, and Vendors.
