We are currently searching for a DOT certified Tank Trailer Mechanic for our Cherry Hill, NJ location!
Requirements
- DOT certified
- Experience with air brake systems and repairs
- Welding and fabrication experience - TIG/MIG, aluminum and stainless preferred
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
- Must be able to work in confined spaces
Nice To Haves
- Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas: The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer. Tank service and repair Trailer suspension installation and repair Experience with air brake systems and repairs Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards, complete DOT inspections Welding and fabrication experience - TIG/MIG, aluminum and stainless preferred
Responsibilities
- Diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
- Perform tank service and repair.
- Install and repair trailer suspension.
- Inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards.
- Complete DOT inspections.
- Perform welding and fabrication (TIG/MIG, aluminum and stainless preferred).
