About The Position

Leppo Rents is hiring Technicians/Mechanics of all experience levels for its Dothan location. The role involves servicing and repairing compact construction equipment in the shop and field, including troubleshooting hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and diesel systems. Technicians help keep the rental fleet ready for work, use computer-based diagnostic tools, document repairs and maintenance, and collaborate with colleagues across Parts, Service, Sales, and Rental. Requirements

• Hands-on experience repairing and servicing compact construction equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot quickly, diagnose accurately, and return machines to service.
• Customer-first mindset.
• Team-oriented approach and willingness to help keep the shop moving.
• Ability to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation, including maintaining regular and punctual attendance.
• Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting, bending, twisting, pulling, and pushing.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with skid steers, mini excavators, telehandlers, and other compact construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex diagnostics and repairs on compact construction equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Perform routine maintenance to keep the rental fleet ready to work.
• Use computer-based diagnostic tools to troubleshoot equipment.
• Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records and manage work orders.
• Mentor and collaborate with teammates across Parts, Service, Sales, and Rental.
• Represent Leppo in customer interactions.
