About The Position
Assembles, sets up, adjusts, maintains, and repairs construction equipment, including internal combustion and diesel engines, air compressors, pumps, concrete mixers, heavy earth-moving equipment, rock crushers, paving equipment, cranes, backhoes, and loaders. May perform welding duties to repair equipment and may travel to jobsites to repair and maintain equipment. May assist other craft workers. Must follow safety protocols and work in a drug-free environment. Wage is negotiated during the hiring process based on experience.
Requirements
- Five years of heavy commercial construction equipment mechanic experience, or an associate degree in a heavy equipment mechanic field plus one year of direct heavy equipment mechanic experience.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 45 lbs.
- Must work in a drug-free environment.
Responsibilities
