About The Position
Village Green is hiring a Maintenance Technician to complete property maintenance work orders and projects, support apartment turns, and provide friendly, professional service to residents. The role includes maintaining the property's exterior and, where applicable, pools, spas, and pool areas. It also involves housekeeping duties and snow removal when needed. The position requires availability for on-call emergencies and flexibility to work weekends when necessary. Offers are contingent on successful background checks; pre-employment drug testing is required, and the company participates in E-Verify.
Requirements
- Strong experience with plumbing, electrical work, appliances, and painting.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- General computer knowledge.
- Availability for on-call purposes and flexibility to work weekends when necessary.
Nice To Haves
- One to three years of experience in the hotel industry or multifamily housing.
- Plumbing, contracting, or builders' certifications and licenses.
Responsibilities
- Complete work orders and special projects in a timely manner.
- Apply HVAC knowledge in maintenance work.
- Complete plumbing and electrical service requests.
- Complete apartment turns, including plumbing, electrical work, drywall repair, painting, and appliance repair or replacement.
- Serve residents in a friendly, customer service-oriented manner.
- Diagnose and repair electrical problems.
- Respond to service requests and on-call emergencies as directed by the Property Manager and Service Manager, completing them in a timely and professional manner.
- Help maintain the property's exterior daily to ensure acceptable curb appeal.
- Perform housekeeping duties as required and snow removal during winter months when needed.
- Maintain pools, spas, and pool areas when applicable.
