About The Position

Adara Communities is hiring an experienced Assistant Maintenance Technician for The Redland, a 276-unit property. The role supports the property’s maintenance operations and resident services in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. The technician assists with daily service requests, apartment make-readies and upgrades, general repairs, and assigned projects, while helping keep the community safe, clean, and functioning well. The position includes participation in an on-call rotation and requires the employee to use and maintain personal tools. Candidates must live within 20 miles of the property or be willing to relocate.

Requirements

At least 2 years of apartment maintenance experience in the multifamily industry; required.
Valid HVAC license; required.
Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, pools, and general repairs.
Strong troubleshooting and time-management abilities.
Personal set of basic hand tools.
Willingness to work on-call as scheduled.
Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

Assist with completing daily service requests for residents.
Support the team with unit make-readies and apartment upgrades.
Perform general maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and pool repair and upkeep.
Work with the Lead Maintenance Technician on assigned projects.
Help maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning community.
Participate in the on-call rotation as scheduled.
Use and maintain personal tools professionally.
Provide exceptional customer service to residents and coworkers.
