About The Position

Urban Air North Fort Worth is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to maintain the appearance and working condition of its attractions and associated equipment. The technician assists with repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance, and helps ensure a safe, organized work area. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Regular attendance and the ability to work various shifts are required. Some flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays may be needed.

The role involves working in a noisy environment and using tools and equipment to inspect, maintain, and repair attractions. Physical activities include standing, moving around the facility, kneeling, bending, climbing, and lifting or moving items, including loads up to 300 pounds with assistance as specified. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED, or at least one year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic working knowledge of hand tools.
• General knowledge of related OSHA regulations and safety practices.
• Ability to work flexibly, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions.
• Ability to wear personal protective gear.
• Ability to use hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Some knowledge of amusement equipment is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Keep accurate documentation of repairs and parts inventory.
• Assist with equipment repairs, troubleshooting, and maintaining attractions in superior working order.
• Maintain the work area and back end in a neat and orderly manner.
• Maintain an adequate supply of tools and machinery.
• Read and interpret diagnostics from manuals.
• Maintain a safe work environment and assist the Supervisor in ensuring staff follow safety rules.
• Advise the Supervisor of problems or potential problems discovered during attraction maintenance.
• Work various shifts and maintain regular attendance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
