Corrective Maintenance Supervisor - Full-Time
Erlanger•Chattanooga, TN
About The Position
Supervises corrective maintenance team, which provides prompt response to customer requests for assistance with facilities, environment, and utilities. Organizes resources to repair or troubleshoot facilities systems and components. Works to develop smooth teamwork and to enhance the team member skills through training. Must lead the corrective maintenance team in the pursuit of excellence in customer service. Able to develop a sense of teamwork where all members are able to contribute ideas to improve the corrective maintenance process. Ability to plan and schedule and follow through so that corrective maintenance is not just reactive to breakdowns.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Eight years experience in maintenance operations
- Three or more years in a supervisory role
- HVAC Mechanic License
- Certification in Proper Refrigerant Practices as a Type I & Type II Technician approved by the EPA as required by 40 CFR part 42
- Speaking and writing skills important
- Basic computers skills with knowledge of internet
