About The Position
The Medical Assistant Limited X-Ray (LMRT) Float provides collaborative support to medical providers, radiologic technologists, and patients through patient care management, organization, and communication. The role performs limited-capacity X-rays and reports results to medical providers. The employee is expected to complete work accurately, with high quality, and in a timely manner while supporting the company’s mission to deliver accessible, quality urgent care through an effortless patient experience and a culture of care. The work is grounded in the company’s values of Collaboration, Innovation, Diversity and Inclusion, Integrity, and Accountability. The stated hourly rate is $21.50–$29.50, with a monthly incentive bonus based on performance metrics.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of a Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire.
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures.
- Strong time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
- Social perceptiveness and a service-oriented approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software.
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant experience.
- Experience performing X-rays.
- One of the following Medical Assistant certifications: CCMA (NHA), CMA (AAMA), RMA (AMT), NCMA (NCCT), or NRCMA (National Association for Health Professionals).
Responsibilities
