About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Fluency in English, including speaking, reading, and writing.
• One to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Flexibility and willingness to work department demands, which may include overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in temperature-controlled zones ranging from -5°F to ambient temperature.
• Ability to observe surroundings, packages, and labels at close and far distances.
• Regularly stand and walk; reach and handle objects, tools, or controls; and perform activities including sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Immediately report accidents, injuries, equipment malfunctions, safety issues, and unsafe practices to a Supervisor.
• Count materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and record totals in inventory records.
• Compare inventories with office records or calculate current inventory using records such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices.
• Verify clerical computations against physical stock counts; correct errors or investigate and report discrepancies.
• Compile information on receipts or disbursements of materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies, and calculate inventory balances, prices, and costs.
• Prepare reports such as inventory balances, price lists, and shortages.
• Prepare lists of depleted items and recommend surveying defective or unusable items.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
