About The Position
This internship provides hands-on experience supporting Human Resources operations, including recruiting, employee engagement initiatives, and internal HR communications within a fast-paced corporate environment.
Requirements
- Must be based in Houston, TX or surrounding areas and commit to a 6-month internship
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, and other departments
- Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities without close supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding administrative, organizational, and critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in the use and application of the following software: Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and operational support across day-to-day HR activities, supporting various Technology Centers in the Sugar Land area
- Assist with the recruitment process, including posting, interviewing, and onboarding
- Assist with the administration of culture programs and initiatives
- Assist in organizing special events, such as center-wide celebrations and recognitions
- Provide coordination and administration of the employee recognition program
- Contribute to HR projects and process improvements as needed
- Maintain high level of confidentiality and ensure compliance with HR policies and data privacy guidelines
- Conduct employee information meetings on employment policies.
- Participate in initiatives aimed continuously improving HR performance and employee motivation.
