About The Position

Community Medical Group is seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Front Desk Rep to join our team. As a Front Desk, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and patients visiting our Social Services Center. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming environment, managing front desk operations, coordinating visitor flow, and providing administrative support to ensure an exceptional experience for those seeking services. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, required.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism when working with diverse populations and sensitive situations.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a customer service, receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role preferred.
  • Data entry experience preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish or English and Creole preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients, visitors, and patients in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Identify the purpose of each visit and direct individuals to the appropriate department, staff member, or waiting area.
  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls while assisting with general inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate visitor and client logs, ensuring all information is entered properly.
  • Coordinate the flow of clients and visitors to Social Services staff and Department of Children and Families (DCF) representatives.
  • Assist clients with scanning, faxing, copying, and other document-related needs.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, organizational policies, and procedures.
  • Support team members and departmental operations as needed to maintain efficient service delivery.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
