This role drives market-based profitability through effective leadership of all fleet and maintenance activities within the assigned area, with a strong focus on cost control, asset utilization, safety, and team development. The Fleet Manager oversees a maintenance operation that runs two shifts and directly leads a staff of 9 Technicians, 1 Operations Specialist, and 1 Shift Supervisor. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance programs, regulatory and safety compliance, technician training, workforce planning, vendor management, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role ensures high training standards, promotes a strong safety culture, and develops team members to meet both operational demands and business objectives. This position plays a critical role in supporting business operations by minimizing downtime, managing maintenance budgets, maintaining equipment readiness, and aligning fleet strategies with local market needs.
