About The Position
Kept Companies is the nation’s largest self-performing commercial cleaning and maintenance company, with nine leading brands and over 100 locations nationwide. The company serves restaurant, solar, retail, transportation, and supermarket industries, providing commercial fleet washing, retail equipment refurbishing and sales, refrigeration, hood, coil and solar panel cleaning, and parking lot services. The Shop and Fleet Maintenance Manager dispatches crews and ensures the correct equipment is sent to job sites, inspects work, monitors route efficiency, and reconciles routes and billing. The role also supports hiring, training, and employee reviews; ensures vehicles and equipment are prepared and maintained; responds to operational issues, emergencies, and customer complaints; and oversees daily maintenance and repair of company vehicles, trucks, trailers, and equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in route management or field supervision.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with scheduling and billing workflows.
- Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Dispatch crews and ensure the correct equipment is sent to job sites.
- Inspect work and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Monitor route efficiency and optimize schedules.
- Reconcile work, routes, and billing daily and weekly.
- Assist with HR activities such as hiring, training, and reviews.
- Ensure vehicles and equipment are prepared and maintained.
- Respond to operational problems, emergencies, and customer complaints.
- Oversee daily maintenance and repair of company vehicles, trucks, trailers, and equipment.
