About The Position

SP+, a Metropolis company, is an artificial intelligence company using computer vision to enable checkout-free parking experiences. The Fleet Maintenance Manager oversees maintenance operations for a DOT shuttle operation. The role works with the on-site manager to plan maintenance and cleaning schedules, assign and supervise work, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards. It also directs routine cleaning, maintenance, and repair activities, including power washing, slurring, restriping, sweeping, and commercial painting.

Requirements

Possess a valid CDL Class A, B, or C driver's license, depending on the location's hiring needs, and maintain it as required by DOT regulations.
Have a Passenger Endorsement if responsible for operating shuttle buses with a passenger capacity of 15 or more.
Possess a DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner’s Certificate).
Be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Meet the physical demands of the role, including sitting, standing, walking, bending, climbing, balancing, reaching, handling or feeling objects, tools, or controls, and occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Prior progressive supervisory or management experience in a transportation environment.
Prior experience ensuring employer compliance with federal and local laws and regulations, particularly the EPA Clean Water Act of 1977 and water pollution requirements.

Responsibilities

Work with the on-site manager to prepare maintenance and cleaning schedules.
Assign, perform, and supervise maintenance and cleaning work.
Oversee daily functions of maintenance staff to ensure quality and timely completion of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual projects.
Conduct daily inspections of cleaning, maintenance, and repair projects to ensure quality standards are met.
Direct and manage routine cleaning, maintenance, and repair, including power washing, slurring, restriping, sweeping, and commercial painting.
