About The Position

Ascension Medical Group is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for their Family Medicine department in Hoffman Estates, IL. This role involves administering immunizations, injections, blood draws, and laboratory work. The Medical Assistant will collaborate with the healthcare team, maintain patient records, and assist providers with procedures. Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Training and/or experience to give vaccinations and injections is a must.
  • 1-year prior MA experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administers critical immunizations, injections, blood draws and executes vital laboratory work to actively protect individuals.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team, contributing specialized knowledge for optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain detailed patient records for seamless communication and care continuity.
