About The Position

A Chattanooga family with three children, ages 12, 9, and 3, is seeking an experienced, trustworthy nanny/family assistant for a long-term position. The role includes providing care for the 3-year-old, driving all three children, and handling family-management duties. These duties are expected to grow as the youngest child spends more time in school. The family is looking for someone who takes ownership of everyday tasks and anticipates needs so the parents can focus on their children when they are home. The position offers 30 or 40 guaranteed hours per week, based on the candidate’s preference, and typically involves 35–45 hours per week. Hours are primarily on weekdays during the day, with flexibility for occasional starts at 7 a.m. or earlier and evenings until 9 p.m. Weekends are not expected unless mutually desired, and advance notice will be provided whenever possible. A separate housekeeper handles regular cleaning; general housekeeping is not part of this role.
