About The Position

Safe at Home (SAH), a division of Kennedy Care, is seeking caring nannies to provide high-quality in-home childcare to families in the community. Nannies may work with one or multiple families, with schedules tailored to their availability and goals. Families participate in an internal screening process to support a good match. SAH serves employees of Ford Motor Company, the University of Michigan, Michigan State University, and individual families.

The role focuses on creating a warm, safe, and fun environment for children; supporting their growth and development through age-appropriate activities; responding to their emotional, social, and physical needs; and communicating with families and the SAH team. Nannies may also transport children to outings, activities, and errands. The position offers up to 40 hours per week on a morning shift in Westland, Michigan, at $16.00–$17.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of childcare experience.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• A positive, can-do attitude.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Proof of auto registration and insurance.
• Availability for at least two full weekdays (Monday–Friday); a full day means at least eight consecutive hours of availability between 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM.
