About The Position

Safe at Home (SAH), a division of Kennedy Care, is hiring caring nannies to provide high-quality in-home childcare to families in the community. The position offers full-time and part-time opportunities, with flexible schedules tailored to availability and goals. Nannies may work with one or multiple families. Families served include employees of Ford Motor Company, the University of Michigan, Michigan State University, and individual families.

Nannies provide engaging, age-appropriate activities, create a warm and safe environment, build professional relationships with families, and communicate with families and the SAH team. They respond to children's emotional, social, and physical needs and may transport children to outings, activities, and errands. The role is based in Auburn Hills and surrounding cities within a 30-mile radius. Morning shifts are available. Pay is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of childcare experience.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• A positive, can-do attitude.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Proof of auto registration and insurance.
• Availability for at least two full weekdays (Monday–Friday); a full day is at least eight consecutive hours of availability between 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM.

• Build professional relationships with families to deliver high-quality childcare.
• Communicate openly with families and the SAH team to ensure consistency and support.
• Respond to the emotional, social, and physical needs of each child, prioritizing safety and well-being.
• Provide transportation for outings, activities, and errands, ensuring children arrive safely and on time.
