About The Position

A private family in Coconut Grove is seeking two experienced, nurturing, and patient ROTA Nannies to care for a 6-month-old and a toddler. The role involves 24-hour coverage during scheduled 7-days-on / 7-days-off rotations. The family travels frequently, including extended international trips during the summer, so candidates must be flexible about travel and occasional longer rotations. Nannies will work collaboratively alongside hands-on parents. The 6-month-old currently has a dedicated Baby Nurse, and the mother is very involved in the children’s daily care.

Requirements

• Experienced with both newborns and toddlers.
• Gentle, patient, nurturing, and adaptable.
• Proactive and observant.
• Comfortable following the parents’ lead and working collaboratively with them.
• Flexible with scheduling, travel, and changing routines.
• Comfortable providing 24-hour coverage during scheduled rotations.

Nice To Haves

• Previous ROTA nanny experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with nighttime care, including occasional overnight feedings.
• Manage naps, bedtime routines, and daily childcare needs.
• Prepare children’s meals, homemade baby food, and bottles.
• Handle children’s laundry and stain removal, and change bed linens, working alongside an existing laundress.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of children’s spaces and belongings.
• Work closely with the parents, anticipating their needs and knowing when to step in and assist.
• Travel domestically and internationally with the family.
