About The Position

A Chattanooga family with three children, ages 12, 9, and 3, is seeking a trustworthy nanny/family assistant for a long-term position. The role combines attentive care for the 3-year-old, driving all three children, and family management tasks that are expected to grow as the youngest spends more time in school. The family values someone who takes ownership of everyday tasks and anticipates needs so the parents can focus on their children when home. The schedule offers 30 or 40 guaranteed hours per week, based on the candidate’s preference, and is typically 35–45 hours per week. Hours are primarily on weekdays during the day, with occasional starts at 7 a.m. or earlier or evenings until 9 p.m. Weekends are not expected unless mutually desired; advance notice will be given whenever possible. A separate housekeeper handles regular cleaning, so general housekeeping is not part of the role. The position includes W-2 employment, paid leave, and use of a family vehicle for work-related driving.
