Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a hacker, developer, or engineer, including deep experience designing and building high-quality backend systems.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with building systems for the assessment, development, and management of energy assets.
• Some understanding of Ruby on Rails, Hotwire, PostgreSQL, Heroku, AWS, and CircleCI.

Responsibilities

• Write, review, and maintain code primarily written in Ruby using Rails and Hotwire.
• Develop and maintain the CI/CD pipeline to enable rapid deployment of well-tested code to production multiple times per day.
• Solve complex domain problems using Rails best practices, functional principles, and service-oriented design.
• Work with the Product team to identify high-leverage solutions that advance Wunder’s mission.
• Shape architectural philosophy and technical direction by exploring emerging technologies and new problem spaces.
• Help establish how the engineering team and its processes evolve as Wunder grows.
