Manufacturing Engineer

AtmosZero•Loveland, CO
•$85,000 - $125,000

About The Position

The Manufacturing Engineer supports prototype, pilot, and production builds, working directly with technicians to troubleshoot manufacturing and assembly issues. The role develops and maintains work instructions, standard work, and manufacturing documentation; contributes manufacturing feedback during design reviews and supports design for manufacturability and assembly (DFMA); and improves assembly processes, tooling, fixtures, and test setups. The engineer helps implement engineering and manufacturing changes on the production floor, supports root-cause investigations and corrective actions, and identifies opportunities to improve safety, quality, cost, and throughput. Additional work includes assisting with production layouts, process flows, labor estimates, and capacity planning; supporting supplier and build-to-print component issues; and participating in Lean and continuous-improvement activities. The position offers hands-on work on next-generation electrified thermal systems and the opportunity to help transition new products from development into production. Success in the first year includes maintaining a strong presence on the manufacturing floor, resolving build issues, creating clear documentation, improving processes, providing practical DFMA feedback, implementing engineering changes correctly, supporting safe and efficient processes, and taking ownership of manufacturing issues through resolution.
