About The Position

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• 3 to 5 years of Automated Manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to diagnose and resolve intricate issues related to processes, materials, or machine functionality.
• Manage a comprehensive database of all equipment programs and passwords to ensure secure access and efficient maintenance.
• Implement updates to PLC programs to accommodate new hardware installations and optimize system performance.
• Upgrade equipment to reduce maintenance repair time and improve overall equipment effectiveness.
• Assist production and maintenance in isolating complex manufacturing issues whether it is in process, material, or machine functionality related.
• Maintain department KPI measurements for machine downtime.
• Provide continuous improvement and/or corrective actions for negative downtime trends.
• Responsible for ensuring non-defined stores items and parts required for emergency repairs are procured in a timely manner.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis activities to eliminate catastrophic breakdowns and reduce redundant failures.
• Coordinate with purchasing to support technical purchases and warranty opportunities.
• Assist project team in the install and signoff of new processes and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by PDD6 management to ensure optimal plant performance.
