About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts degree.
• At least 2 years of related experience.
• Information technology skills.
• Secret security clearance; must currently possess and be able to obtain Secret clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Communication and problem-solving abilities.

Nice To Haves

• Fluency with Microsoft Office 2007 and later, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project, and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Research, prepare, and edit technical documents.
• Work with a team and document authors to produce highly technical documents that comply with Army Writing Style.
• Draft, write, edit, proofread, and provide comments on team documents.
• Check document formatting, grammar, capitalization, typefaces, numerals, compound words, spacing, spelling, and other editorial details.
• Verify that the table of contents agrees with headings, page numbers are correct, tables and other elements are properly numbered and identified, and cross-document references are accurate.
