About The Position

Adams MultiMedia is seeking a community editor for the Morrison County Record. This full-time position is based in the company’s Little Falls office and covers local government beats, business, breaking news, in-depth feature stories, photography, and layout. The role is suited to new graduates or experienced journalists who are passionate about community journalism and sharing compelling local stories. The successful candidate will be flexible, attentive to detail, able to communicate concisely, and capable in photography.

Requirements

• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to create content for digital and print products.
• Ability to use social media to engage the audience.
• Flexibility, attention to detail, concise communication skills, and capability in photography.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and a driving record that can be insured by the company.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Microsoft Office, AP Style, and Blox online content management systems; training is available.
• Education or experience in journalism or a related field.
