About The Position

St. Louis CITY SC is hiring a dynamic Videographer/Editor to tell the story of the Major League Soccer club and St. Louis. This is a full-time, exempt position. The role creates video content across the club’s sport and lifestyle work, from short-form social content to long-form content for Apple TV. The Videographer/Editor works at the speed of sport to deliver high-quality assets, edits on the road or in an office, and travels with the team for away games. The role also builds relationships with the front office and sporting department.

The club seeks a creatively minded, detail-oriented storyteller with strong ideas, a portfolio demonstrating beautiful storytelling and digital-first work, and a passion for sport, community, lifestyle, and the internet. Candidates should have experience shooting and covering sports and branded commercial work, working across social and digital platforms, and collaborating with teams and internal stakeholders. The stated experience range is 3–5 years in sport, production, or a content-creation environment. Qualifications are considered less important than a portfolio demonstrating competency; title and compensation will reflect the candidate’s experience.

Requirements

• 3–5 years working in sport, production, or a content-creation environment.
• Passion for and knowledge of sport; soccer knowledge is preferable.
• A portfolio showcasing strong storytelling, ideas, and digital-first work.
• Experience shooting or covering sports and branded commercial work.
• Strong knowledge of best practices across social and digital platforms.
• Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills; Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign are listed as examples.
• Basic knowledge of DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience exporting and uploading files across multiple platforms.
• Motion-design skills using After Effects or other motion-design software.
• Proficiency shooting with a variety of cameras, including handheld cameras.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with internal stakeholders.
• Supportive, collaborative team-player approach.
• Flexibility to travel.

• Experience in sport, advertising, content creation, production, or television, or having built something independently.
