Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to develop enrollment and retention strategies for a K-12 school system.
• Ability to build relationships and engage prospective families and regional community partners.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate proactively with students, parents, faculty, staff, and administration.
• Ability to identify and address barriers to enrollment and retention, including financial concerns, special needs, transportation, and individual circumstances.
• Ability to track and analyze recruitment, enrollment, and retention metrics.
• Ability to handle sensitive student and family matters with confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to increase enrollment throughout the K-12 school system.
• Serve as a primary contact and relationship manager for prospective students and families, engaging them throughout the enrollment process.
• Communicate school offerings, including academics, Catholic faith formation, athletics, extracurricular activities, student accomplishments, tuition assistance, and school culture.
• Use school resources and communication channels—including meetings, presentations, print and digital communications, advertising, promotional activities, and community outreach—to support recruitment.
• Build relationships with parishes, community organizations, families, alumni, and regional partners to increase awareness of the schools.
• Research why families do or do not enroll and identify opportunities to improve the prospective-family experience.
• Track recruitment activity, inquiries, applications, enrollment, and other relevant metrics.
• Promote a school-wide culture focused on student and family retention.
• Work with faculty, students, parents, and administration to understand why students remain enrolled or consider leaving.
• Identify barriers to continued enrollment and develop proactive strategies to address concerns before they lead to withdrawal.
• Develop intervention and follow-up processes for families considering leaving the school.
• Help ensure student and parent concerns are heard and directed to the appropriate school personnel, and facilitate communication when concerns arise.
• Handle sensitive student and family matters with appropriate confidentiality and professionalism.
• Monitor retention trends and provide administration with regular feedback on concerns, barriers, and opportunities for improvement.
• Establish annual enrollment growth goals with administration and develop a sustainable plan to increase class sizes and overall enrollment over time.
• Establish a measurable annual retention goal and develop strategies to achieve and sustain it.
