About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent attendance and dependability.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and twist over long periods.
• Must possess proficient communication skills in the English language in reading, writing, and verbal communication.
• Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills to ensure completion of all tasks.
• Experience working in a factory environment preferred.
• Must be able to work with frequently changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of routine and generalized cleaning and custodial duties as directed, including, but not limited to, the following: Cleaning and general upkeep of restroom facilities, breakroom area, Specialties and Paperboard areas.
• Sweeping floors.
• Empty trash containers into the proper receptacles.
• Pick up trash from the lawn and parking lots, weather permitting.
• Snow removal and application of salt to prevent slipping hazards on walkways and entrances.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels of cleaning related supplies.
• General custodial activities of facility, including walls, electrical panels, safety railings and ceilings via aerial lift.
• Assist in light maintenance work, i.e. Change light bulbs, painting, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management personnel.
• Assure excellent housekeeping of facility.
• Support and adhere to internal quality and safety programs.
