Custodian and Facilities Maintenance Associate - 2nd Shift
About The Position
Systems, LLC, an affiliate of Chamberlain Group, is a U.S.-based manufacturer of loading dock equipment marketed under the Poweramp, DLM, and McGuire brands. Its products are designed and produced in the United States using lean manufacturing techniques. The Custodian and Facilities Maintenance Associate performs cleaning and minor maintenance duties, helps prepare spaces for events and meetings, and reports maintenance issues or safety hazards. The role requires following safety guidelines, protecting confidential information, and contributing to team projects. The position offers a pay range of $15.77–$22.66 per hour, a comprehensive benefits package, a 401(k) contribution, and eligibility to participate in a short-term incentive plan, subject to applicable eligibility requirements and plan terms.
Requirements
- No minimum education required.

- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety practices, and basic maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit.
- Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel.
- Ability to climb or balance.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to talk or hear.
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors and other surfaces as needed, following safety protocols and using appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, fixtures, and common areas, and replenish supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles and ensure proper disposal.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs and unclogging drains.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with setup and tear-down for events and meetings.
- Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules.
- Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputations by keeping information confidential.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops, professional publications, personal networks, and professional societies.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results and participating in projects as needed.
