2nd Shift Custodian
About The Position
Gordon Food Service is hiring a custodian to help maintain its distribution center at 3301 NW 125th St, Miami, Florida. The custodian supports clean, organized operations by caring for the building and its grounds. Duties include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, emptying trash, clearing snow, and maintaining landscaping. No prior experience is required; training is provided. The position pays $20.52 per hour to start, including a $1.00 second-shift premium, and offers monthly performance incentives. The work schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 6:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., with Fridays and Saturdays off. Work takes place in a distribution center with temperatures ranging from -25°F to 100°F.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Must be able to work in extreme cold or hot conditions, from -25°F to 100°F.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, benefits and company information, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
