This position leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. It involves touring stores, providing feedback, and communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. The role also involves introducing and leading company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions, and communicating business objectives to teams effectively. Additionally, the position models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards, manages and supports customer service initiatives, ensures customer needs are resolved, develops action plans to correct deficiencies, and provides process improvement leadership. The role drives financial performance and sales by reviewing Profit Loss statements, managing and assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses, monitoring merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes, and developing action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals. It provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing associate recognition, communicating expectations consistently, promoting a belonging mindset, and recruiting and developing qualified associates. The role also coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives, identifying and communicating goals, building accountability, and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning. Finally, it ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports the company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
