About The Position

Requirements

• Master’s degree in one of the recognized mental health professions.
• Licensed or license eligible in the State of Colorado as LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LAC, CAC III or PhD.
• Minimum of five (5) years of post-graduate clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
• At least two (2) years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge and ability to operate standard office equipment including scanner, computer, calculator, copy machine, fax and multi-line telephone.
• Working knowledge of Windows based computer applications including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and ability to access the internet.
• Ability to be helpful and sensitive to the needs of all employees, while concurrently respecting corporate policies, procedures and priorities.
• Interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external customers.
• Ability to communicate job-related information to individuals and small groups.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; plan own work schedule effectively and multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize workload in a sometimes-hectic environment with frequent interruptions.
• Ability to concentrate in sometimes hectic and stressful settings.
• Ability to read and understand written materials.
• Must regard work as confidential.
• Must have current driver’s license, qualify for commercial vehicle insurance and maintain a driving record that allows insurability with AXIS HEALTH SYSTEM’ insurance agency.
• Occasional travel required.
• Annual Flu immunization.
• Annual TB screening.
• De-escalation training within 90 days.
• BLS certification required.

• LAC certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality clinical supervision to all assigned clinical staff.
• Providing direct clinical care.
• Participating as a member of the program team to design and implement the individual care plans for program clients in accordance with policies, rules, regulations, and directives which apply.
• Utilizing a variety of treatment approaches and case coordination to work with a diverse client population.
• Providing expertise for center policy and programming.
• Taking on additional duties when necessary.
