About The Position
Copart, Inc. is a global technology leader and the premier online vehicle auction platform, with over 200 facilities worldwide. We connect vehicle sellers with over 750,000 buyers in more than 190 countries. Copart is currently seeking skilled and dedicated Class B or A tow truck drivers to join our team. Copart drivers transport vehicles, primarily damaged ones, from various locations to our local Copart facilities. Additionally, there is an opportunity to travel nationwide for catastrophe response, including hurricanes, flooding, natural disasters, and supporting other Copart locations. Copart offers competitive pay and benefits in the towing industry, rewarding hard work with a piece rate-based pay system that allows for potential earnings of $75,000+ annually, with top performers earning $100,000+.
Requirements
- Must meet background screening criteria
- Must possess a Class A or B Driver's License issued by your state of residence
- Travel will be required including traveling by airplane at times
- Must be able to work long hours 12+ hours per day when needed
- Be able to travel with 24 hours or less notice
- Ability to work in extreme conditions, weather, and terrain
Nice To Haves
- Previous towing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Must be willing to travel nationally on short notice for extended periods of time
- Deploy to catastrophe events within 24 hours when directed to do so
- Pick-up and delivery of vehicles to designated Copart facility
- Load/unload vehicles safely and free of damage
- Operate company equipment in compliance with safety regulations
- Commitment to safety, productivity, and professionalism
- Maintain Hours of Service logs
- Maintain and assure good operating condition of all equipment and facilities
- Other tasks as assigned by the manager in support of daily operations
