About The Position
Join the Jusczak Trucking Team as a Local Flatbed Driver in Monroe, LA! Jusczak Trucking, a family-owned company with deep roots in the trucking industry since 1974, is currently seeking experienced local truck drivers for our Monroe, Louisiana location. If you're a professional driver with flatbed experience and want to be home every day, we want to hear from you! At Jusczak Trucking, we pride ourselves on providing industry-leading services while leveraging technology to ensure efficiency and meet our clients' needs. Our fleet of well-maintained Peterbilt trucks with CAT engines is ready for the road, and we're looking for experienced drivers to join our team. Position Details: Location: Monroe, LA (Home Every Day) Hauling Freight: Primarily Flatbed Equipment: Model year 2000 and older Peterbilt 379s with 3406E CAT engines Fleet Maintenance: Maintenance with our sister company, NSC ATE, ensuring minimal downtime. Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Clean Driving Record (no major violations in the last 3 years)
- Pass a DOT Physical Exam and maintain a valid DOT medical card
- At least 2 years of Class A driving experience (or equivalent training) preferred
- No major traffic violations in the past 3-5 years
- Pass a drug test (pre-employment and random)
- Ability to lift, load, and secure freight, and perform other physically demanding tasks
- Strong communication skills
- Moderate technology skills (familiarity with proprietary dispatching software)
- Clean background check
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Commitment to safety standards and regulations
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Nice To Haves
- Experience with hauling flatbed, step deck, RGN, van, Conestoga, or over-dimensional freight
Responsibilities
- Haul flatbed freight
- Operate Peterbilt trucks with CAT engines
- Perform fleet maintenance checks
- Maintain driver logs and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
