About The Position
Prairie Family Medicine, part of Praxis Health, is looking for an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our dedicated team! Requirements
- High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant required
- Ability to multi-task and provide support to multiple providers
- Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
- BLS certification (or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire)
Nice To Haves
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
- Greenway experience is a bonus!
Responsibilities
- Rooming patients quickly and efficiently
- Performing Electrocardiogram (EKG) procedures and vital sign measurement
- Updating medical records
- Assisting with minor procedures and administering injections
- Supporting patients through their visit, including discharge and follow-ups
- Managing medical supplies and ensuring a clean work environment
