About The Position
This position involves receiving, inspecting, storing, distributing, and caring for materials, supplies, and equipment. Responsibilities include packing, unpacking, counting, weighing, measuring, loading, and unloading items. The role requires operating various equipment for material handling and maintaining inventory records. The job also involves ensuring cleanliness and orderliness of storage facilities and conducting cycle counts. Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, check, store, distribute, and care for material, supplies, and equipment.
- Store tools and keys.
- Pack, unpack, count, weigh, and measure materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Load and unload at the storage facility and at the point of pick-up, delivery, or distribution.
- Travel to points of pick-up, delivery, or distribution as needed.
- Operate elevator, electric transports, lift trucks, and other necessary equipment to load and unload supplies.
- Check materials received against invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading, noting any breakage or discrepancies.
- Pick supplies from shelves to fill requisitions, lifting and carrying supplies when necessary.
- Keep storage facilities clean and orderly.
- Maintain perpetual inventories and detailed inventory records.
- Work in Maximo.
- Conduct Cycle Counts.
