The BIM Project Manager drives schedules, documentation, and deliverables across multiple large commercial mechanical projects. The role coordinates assigned BIM resources; tracks RFIs, constraints, decisions, and approvals; and aligns coordination with procurement, fabrication, and field installation. It is primarily a project-management role with limited hands-on modeling. The position reports to the BIM Manager and teaches and coaches assigned team members. The role owns day-to-day follow-through, while the BIM Manager retains department priorities and staffing decisions. The position requires coordinating BIM delivery and project stakeholders, maintaining clear records of coordination progress and commitments, ensuring approved project information is reflected in BIM workflows, and confirming coordinated areas are approved and released for fabrication and installation. The BIM Project Manager communicates risks and status, escalates bottlenecks, and supports continuous improvement. Work takes place in a non-controlled environment and may involve climbing and working on ladders and elevated surfaces, maintaining tools and equipment, and exposure to the elements throughout the year when required. Employees must wear PPE and follow safety procedures at all times.
