About The Position

Kimley-Horn is seeking an experienced BIM Manager to join its MEP team in St. Pete, Florida. The role serves as BIM Manager on projects and supports the continued expansion of the MEP practice. It coordinates with Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, and other internal disciplines, using tools such as Revit and BIM to deliver multidisciplinary projects. The BIM Manager establishes and maintains standards, protocols, and workflows that streamline coordination across projects and offices. The successful candidate will have substantial autonomy to lead, direct, and grow the business.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of relevant experience.
• Strong design skills in Revit and other Autodesk products.
• MEP design skills, including content creation, families, and schedules.
• Ability to travel extensively to other Kimley-Horn offices to provide project support.
• Ability to communicate positively and effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage and mentor staff and direct resources effectively in a positive manner.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the BIM Manager on projects and support the ongoing expansion of Kimley-Horn’s MEP practice.
• Coordinate with Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, and other internal disciplines on projects using Revit, BIM, and related tools.
• Establish and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and workflows to streamline project coordination across multiple projects and offices.
• Lead, direct, and grow the business.
• Manage and mentor staff and direct resources effectively.
