About The Position

Kimley-Horn is seeking an experienced BIM Manager to join its MEP team in St. Pete, Florida. This is an onsite, non-remote position. The BIM Manager will serve on projects and support the continued expansion of Kimley-Horn’s MEP practice, coordinating with Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, and other internal disciplines to deliver multidisciplinary projects. The role establishes and maintains BIM standards, protocols, and workflows to streamline coordination across multiple projects and offices. The successful candidate will have substantial autonomy to lead, direct, and grow the business.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong design skills in Revit and other Autodesk products.
• MEP design skills, including content creation, families, and schedules.
• Ability to travel extensively to other Kimley-Horn offices to provide project support.
• Ability to communicate positively and effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage and mentor staff and direct resources effectively in a positive manner.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the BIM Manager on projects and support the ongoing expansion of Kimley-Horn’s MEP practice.
• Coordinate with Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, and other internal disciplines using tools such as Revit and BIM to deliver multidisciplinary projects.
• Establish and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and workflows to streamline project coordination across multiple projects and offices.
• Lead, direct, and grow the business with a high degree of autonomy.
• Manage and mentor staff and direct resources effectively.
