About The Position

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience using Java, Python, RESTful APIs, JDBC/Hibernate/JPA, and messaging technologies such as Kafka, MQ, or JMS.
• At least 4 years of experience with Spring Boot or an equivalent framework and microservices architecture.
• At least 4 years of experience with AWS cloud technologies and highly available, scalable architectures.
• At least 4 years of experience with one or more relational databases (MySQL) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB).
• Experience with Identity and Access Management solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD concepts and tools such as Git, Maven, Gradle, and Jenkins.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field (or foreign equivalent degree), or equivalent work experience.
• Must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization; candidates requiring sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered.
• Employment is contingent on standard background checks; additional government-contract-related checks may apply depending on the position’s assignment.

• Experience in the financial services industry.
• Working knowledge of test-driven development methodology.

• Strong experience leading strategy, governance, and execution of event-based architecture at large institutions.
• Financial services or payments industry experience.
• Experience with analytics and performance monitoring.
• Experience with the practical aspects of Agile software product development lifecycles.
• Experience with security implementations such as Voltage, Sonatype, Web Inspect, and Fortify.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain large-scale, high-frequency, low-latency applications.
• Work with product management to understand requirements and provide estimates, high-level designs, and detailed designs for product and customer enhancements.
• Use Java, Python, microservices, and RESTful API development to develop and support applications.
• Develop the CI/CD pipeline and test automation framework, and automate build and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and product partners to build and deliver software.
• Integrate security measures, code quality and coverage checks, unit tests, and other guidelines into the CI/CD process.
• Complete security scans, support PCI/PII data masking, and review data encryption processes before production deployment.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including knowledge base articles and best practices.
• Ensure code is well-structured, maintainable, and high quality.
• Research and suggest modern development approaches using cloud solutions.
